Mom's Visit

We were so thankful that Mom (Mimi) was able to come out to visit us for a couple of weeks.  She had quite an adventurous trip but finally arrived a day later than initially planned.  She still had a smile on her face as she came out from baggage claim.

 She was quite the trooper as we had been weeks into the process of obtaining a new pet, Jose.  When I scheduled our pick up, I thought she would be arriving a day earlier.  Mom went with us and was able to meet the lady as well as see how beautiful Estonia is outside the city.  I had also scheduled a playdate with some friends of Clara's that were leaving for the summer that same afternoon.

 Finally, things settled down a little for us and we took her to our favorite restaurant, Peppersack.  We waited around but gave up waiting for the sword fight.  However, she did catch the bellydancing!  As you can see from the pictures, she was up close and personal.

 While she was here, we took a trip to the Tallinn Zoo, which we had never visited.  It has a lot of potential and they are updating it to be more animal friendly.

 Another day we went to the Maritime Days at the harbor and enjoyed the crowds.

 Of course, we had to bring the newest member of our family!

 Mom was also able to see the open air museum.  

 Pets are welcome!

 Of course, we repeatedly hit Old Town.
