We've been having lots of fun in science this year and including Zach when possible. As we move into studying food chains and webs, a fellow homeschooling mom recommended dissecting owl pellets. I really knew little about them, so checked into it and the kids and I became really excited to give it a try. We started yesterday and managed to remove quite a few bones.
After cleaning the bones thoroughly we will try to reconstruct the skeletal remains discovered and identify it using the bone sorting charts!
