Pictures Added!

I've heard some rumbles about the lack of pictures shared of our trip.  In response, I finally uploaded them!  I will say that I have not been able to add the pictures from Edinburgh Castle though as they are on my camera. We are still waiting for the device we ordered to enable me to upload pics from the camera to the computer.  I'll let you know when that happens.  As a bonus, I finally added pictures to the post about Helsinki too.  So, if you are bored, feel free to scroll back to that post.  Captions will come later.

Dublin

Dublin was very cool.  After getting all cleaned up, our B&B recommended a nearby pub for dinner.  It was pretty tasty and then we explored the nearby area before heading back and developing a game plan for the next day.

We ate breakfast at McDonald's and were armed with the buses that would take us to O'Connell Street. We weren't far at all, but it saved us a few minutes walking time to catch the bus.  We got a two day pass on another hop on hop off tour bus and learned some neat history while catching the sites.  After a complete tour we explored the area on foot.  We made it to Dublin Castle but did not visit the state rooms.  We also walked around the Temple Bar area.  It was a nice day but we were more than ready to head back to the room as I think we were getting exhausted from being on vacation, I mean holiday.

The next day we ventured back to O'Connell street and hopped back on the tour bus to get to the Dublin Zoo.  We felt the kids deserved a treat like this after being such troopers.  It was a nice zoo and we spent quite some time there.  The kids were able to see the sealions and penguins fed, which was a bonus.  We caught a tour bus back to O'Connell street where we did a little more exploring and had dinner.

And that was it!  The next morning we rode into the airport and boarded a plane back to Tallinn.  It was an amazing trip and we've been researching so much history from our experience.  We had a few minor glitches along the way.  No doubt about it though, we were so relieved to make it home.  While Charlie had to return to work the next day, I allowed the kids to have a day of recovery while I cleaned and did laundry all day, plus caught up on homework as our last b&b had lousy Internet connectivity.  Yesterday saw Clara back to her studies and we are back to the routine!
