This picture was taken New Year's Eve. We picked up take out. Clara requested to use her chopsticks and I just gave Zach the ones that were packed in the bag to avoid his upset. I've not given him any instruction on the proper usage so was pretty impressed when I turned around and saw him successfully using them. So, of course I grabbed the camera. I will have to say that it wasn't all smooth sailing, but he was patient.
Zach is into everything and often gets in my way when I try to clean. I have discovered that he LOVES to use the Swiffer dry mop. I just thought it was cute, so again I grabbed the camera. He is not a neat freak, but I hope he continues to enjoy helping me dust and sweep. Oh, and he is officially a big boy. No more diapers!
Here is our little lady. Mimi made her this very colorful tutu. She of course admired it but then she disappeared. Shortly she returned wearing a leotard with the tutu and put on quite the show for us.

We have had a lovely Christmas break and I am sad to see it come to an end but am also eager to get back in the swing of things. I start another class tomorrow and work resumes on Tuesday. We will start selling Girl Scout cookies this week (let me know if you want to place an order). Although I did not spend as much time at work as I had hoped with all the sickness and injury during the first week and then potty training the second week, I will be able to go in tomorrow to prepare for the coming week.
Charlie has submitted his final re-enlistment package! I still feel so young (as I am) but it seems crazy that we are at this point of his Marine career. He is also working on starting all the prep work for MSG school. I am sure the next two months will fly.
Well, this post has been mostly rambling. Again, everyone have a happy 2012!
